famous for bird nest biscuit,雞仔餅, almond biscuit, egg biscuit, beancurd roll with shrimp roll.

I have not tried out the snacks I bought except for the bird nest biscuit and beancurd roll. Beancurd roll has to be eaten on same day and bird's nest cake in 3 days.

The bird nest biscuit was sold out when I went there after mak's noodle in the evening.

Make another trip after visiting Lin Heung Tea House.

The beancurd roll with shrimp roll has a subtle sweetness to it. Quite like it.

The bird's nest cakes cost hk$45 for six pieces. Not really that cheap.

It taste like the white glutinous cake wrapped in pink paper we eat in Singapore. I like to eat that so I like to eat this too.

Mak's Noodle 麥奀雲吞麵世家

Voted as one of the best wanton noodle

One bowl of wanton noodles is around hk$32.

I love HongKong Wanton Noodles for the chewy noodles and shrimp wanton. This is good but did not find this expectionally good.

Maxim's food

It is everywhere in hong Kong. Chinese fast food.

Grab a bite at the airport before boarding.

Wanton noodle is good but not as good as Mak's noodle.

The roast duck was quite good too.

hong kong : agnes b cafe

I actually have no intention of visiting agnes b cafe while in hong kong, just happen to pass by and they look so pretty. The one above is the one at causeway bay, times square.

 Then as I was walking to Lung Shing Pharmacy, pass by the one at K-11. Beautiful enough to make me walk in.

 The cakes look good but I just had breakfast.

Decide to order the the coffee. It is not that cheap but not that expensive either, around starbucks price and they do have some interesting drinks like rose flavoured, ginger flavoured or creme brulee flavoured cafe au lait.

I picked a safe but interesting choice, creme brulee. yummy.

 Beautiful coffee paper cup. 

They sell some agnes b tumbler, xmas gifts sets, chocolate and toy rabbits.

Hong kong: 兴记Hing Kee

Visited this after I finish shopping at Temple street. Started from Jordan Station and just walked pass a small park, fortune tellers and you find this stall. They seems to open 3 other branches. After the meal, can just walk to Yau ma Tei MTR.
I try something different. The 避風塘 clams, means with fried garlic. It taste good but the clams were a bit skinny. Maybe should try the crab if you don't mind getting messy.
For the claypot rice, add in the soya sauce and sesame sauce yourself and then mixed it. Quite fun and you can control the taste of it. What I like best is the rice, it is solid and also not mushy and fragrant.

 Famous for their polos buns 菠蘿包
They have a lot of variations. The buns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
A good place for breakfast before heading to hua yeun street.

 We are back!

The porridge is good.

My parents said that they prefer this wanton noodles to Mak's noodles. Their noodles have a more chewy texture compared to Singapore. My sister spotted two prawns inside a Wanton.

Mum's order, rice roll with prawn. I preferred the one with youtiao.

The carrot cake which I like.

Mango mochi.

Their siew mai with scrunchy prawns.

The only disappointment, the custard bud. We expect the filling to be hot and liquid but it turn out to be lumpy.

This is a must visit place for me. The things are exactly the cheapest. I think will cost around s$15 to s$20 per meal.

The large amount of food is because we visited the place twice. I have a voucher to use and the food is good and my parents like this place.

It is located near to the ferry terminal to Macau at Tsim Sha Tsui. I visited it before I set off to Macau and when I came back from Macau. Seems a bit dumb?

I like the egg waffle ball 雞蛋仔 and grilled sotong.

At Mongkok, there is argyle centre and new town mall which sell a lot of stuff. Lot of shopping can be done here. It close around 11pm.

We had breakfast at Kam Wah, famous for their 菠蘿包 before heading to 花园街, flower street. It is just a 5 minutes walk from Kam Wah. Can enjoy looking at the colorful fish on the way to 花园街

There are lot of shoes shops behind the stalls. So don't just shop at the stalls. The shoes are usually selling shoes for around hk$100 and there is a big big variety. Shop around as prices may differ. The price is fixed. However, the biggest size is usually 39 or 40 so not a place for girls with big feet.

 It was a bit quite on the day I visited as it was raining. For anyone who needs a healthy dosage of fruits in their life, can buy from here,

I am not sure about the hours but it start usually in the late morning, around 11am and the shops and stalls close around 8pm.

There is not much bargaining at this place, just a few hong kong dollars off the item.

They erected this big gate at Temple street so you know when you reached.

Temple street is in between Yau Ma Tei and Jordan. It is just which side you want to start from.

A lot of open air eatery. We went to Hing Kee for claypot.

Temple street has a partion in the middle which you will need to cross a small garden and walk through a whole row of fortune tellers and people singing karaoke.

I visited 花园街(Hua Yuen, flower street), 廟街(temple street), 女人街(ladies market). 花园街 is the least touristy. If you are shopping the other two markets, be prepared to do some hard core bargaining and wait for them to drag you back. Watched a lot of this kind of drama at 廟街, 女人街.

I enquire about girl's school bag for my niece. Not sure about the quality differences.

but do remember the other two places can be cheaper if you are a good bargainer and enjoy bargaining.

I prefer flower street for the shoes and also I am not really into bargaining.

But is nice to stroll at the other two, may find things that you like and I do like to watch the bargaining drama.
